At Isthmian Adventures, we are dedicated to providing authentic and inspirational experiences for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in Panama’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Our goal is to accommodate the needs of every client, whether they are single travelers or part of a larger group.

We understand the cost challenges of traveling alone and how some unique travel experiences can be out of reach for solo travelers. When you travel alone, you have to confront all the costs of the experience on your own, such as transportation and guide services. However, these costs can be shared by participants and greatly influence the overall cost of a tour.

Most of our tours are private, allowing us to accommodate the interests and needs of our travelers to the maximum extent possible. However, to help single or couple travelers maximize their vacation budget without compromising the quality of their tours, we have incorporated a calendar of open departure tours. These open departure tours allow travelers to share the experience and make it more affordable. You will still enjoy the services and expertise of our fantastic naturalist guides and travel designers, but you will have the opportunity to share the experience with other travelers if you choose to do so.

If you don’t see anyone sign up for a departure date that works for you, contact us and we can add you as a tentative open departure until 48 hrs before the expiration date with no charge. If no one signs up, you can cancel, at no charge. The cost by number of participants can be found on every day tour description.

Check out our travel calendar for the dates you will be in Panama and see if you can join an open departure. This will not only make your experience more affordable but also give you the chance to make new friends with fellow travelers.
