Our adventure begins with a scenic transfer from Panama City to the sunset coast of Veraguas. We’ll explore Nata de los Caballeros, one of Panama’s earliest Spanish settlements, where the lure of gold once inspired exploration.
Our destination for the night is Quebro in Mariato, renowned for its stunning sunsets and community-driven efforts in sustainable tourism and sea turtle conservation. Upon arrival at our local hotel, we’ll join the Agua y Tierra Foundation’s dedicated team. Depending on the season, we might accompany their volunteers on a beach patrol, witnessing the majestic sea turtles in their natural habitat.

Today, we dive into the Eco Ruta La Tortuga, a community initiative offering immersive experiences. We bid farewell to Mariato and set sail to Coiba National Park, a renowned haven for nature enthusiasts. Over two days, explore the park’s diverse landscapes—trails, rivers, beaches, and underwater marvels—while staying in the coastal community of Bahia Honda.
